Fulham is dominated by Victorian terraces, which means the work here is fairly consistent: side-return infills to widen a kitchen, loft conversions to add a bedroom, and full back-to-brick renovations. It also means solid-wall construction, shared party walls on both sides, and neighbours who need to be kept onside for the duration.
Access is the constant here. Terraced streets with no rear access and controlled parking mean skips, deliveries and muck-away all have to be sequenced deliberately. Getting that wrong is what turns a four-month job into a six-month one.
